Discovery: Classic Retro Glamour

I have been growing my hair out for some time now, and it’s only getting longer.  My long-term plan is to eventually donate it to Locks of Love – did you know every hair on every hairpiece they make is inserted by hand? – but in the short-term, here the hair sits, atop my head.  What to do with it in the meantime? 

The best thing about having long hair is the fancy up-do.

And there are so many!  I found this great series of video from ClassicRetroGlamour.  This lady shows you her methods for nearly any vintage hairstyle you would like.




I didn’t really need any more ways to distract myself from work, but that is what I have found here. 

I promise to show you my finished up-do, if I’m able to pull it off.  The lady in these videos makes it look easy, but I have a feeling that’s only because she’s had practice.  Please, let me see what you come up with!
